I did download the latest snapshot of the DVB-s drivers (I also tried
the 0.9 package). They installed just fine and I was able to get video
up and running with xawtv. I can also switch channels with tuxzapp, no
problem. However, I don't get any sound from the card.
It is a Hauppauge DVB-S (apparently layout 2.1 b/c there is no
loop-back connector). I hooked it up to my Soundblaster Live thru the
internal connector as Line In. That worked fine under Windows, but it
does not under Linux.
The only thing I relalized while looking at linuxdvb.tv, in their board
layout for 2.1 they mention the Texas Instruments AV7110, but my syslog
shows AV7111.
Is there anything I could try to figure out whats wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Ronny
