I have the same electrical behaviour  with Scart and newer driver than 
dvb-20011015 and VDR
But I don't would say this is a Bug as I understand it change the DVB-API 
because there are changes to the frontend code ( there are new files 
frontend.c frontend.h and after compilation the new modul frontend.o)
hope this is correct

and newer dirver works with Scart out to TV without VDR
and VDR with newer driver  select Coax Cable (normal composite) out to TV  
works very good too

What I am found confused is : As I understand is the Frontend of the Card for 
receive and work up the Signal  for the demuxer responsible , from electrical 
point of view
and the SAA7146 than bring it to the TV. 
If this would be rather true why happen's than this with the Scart out and 
the Tuning of the Card work's well  as I can see at coax Cable.

an answer from the driver developer or from VDR developer Klaus would be 
great nice

I look myself at the driver Source with diff but because I am no C -developer 
(I am happy by wrote little script's for the beginning) I can do nothing by 
myself 
but for all that I am very interested at this stuff 
and would be very happy over any help and hint's for what i can do to change 
this problem with the Scart and VDR

till than I will stay at driver 09.21 with VDR 0.98 and will be lucky with it 
because it is already at this Time much more Better than my Nokia D-box 2
that I sell long bevor this time  :-)

Natürlich habe auch ich die Bad news Postings um convergence verfolgt und 
verstehe natürlich wenn hoffentlich noch reichlich andere pojekte ( welche 
mit denen sich auch Geld verdienen läst ) Priorität 1 haben , habe aber auch 
die mails von Ralph Metzler gelesen 04.01 und später zum Thema Scart und auch 
weitere unterstützung des Treibers wenn möglich auch von anderen Karten wie 
Siemens (wie z.B jetzt bei der TT DVB-C ) und sage bis dahin erst mal Danke !!
Denke mal geht sicher auch ne menge Freizeit bei drauf , auch wenn es zum 
Teil vielleicht ein bissel mit Hobby zu tun hat, wenn sich da jemand frei 
ohne eigenen Nutzen außer das erworbene Wissen um Probleme sozusagen völlig 
Fremder kümmert ist das schon mehr wie OK

und zum Schluss :
Ich verstehe Firmen wie Siemens nicht so ganz die bringen ne Activy 300 und 
ein Multitainer raus beide Geräte fast nicht schlecht aber beide einfach 
nicht konsequent meiner meinung nach
warum bringt kein Hersteller sowas wie den Multitainer mit DVB , warum muss 
man sich soetwas erst selber zusammen Basteln, der Markt für solche all in 
one Geräte ist doch sicher da, können die Hersteller einfach 1 & 1 nicht 
zusammen zählen, oder wollen einfach nicht, oder läst sich soetwas
wie ein Multitainer mit DVB DVD MP3 Audio CD VCD u.s.w unter Linux einfach 
nicht realisieren wegen Lizenz Problemen.
