Last day, I corrected a lots of copy from my students and had enough to
correct them so I played with my IR, also from my Hauppauge WinTV
(Theater), I used an old connector from a defect stereo headphone which
I cut, put one end in the connector of the CI (3,6 mm I think) and
played with the wired of the other end to the IR connector, compiled
lirc from CVS and tried to make a suitable lircd.conf.

I got the buttons in /var/log/messages really good, but didn't try long
enuogh to make a real lircd.conf for it... I think my "connection" was
certainly much too bad...

And as long as there is no xv support for DVB, I can't imagine how to
make without a TV card...

I have no idea how to make without a CI...
