I'm afraid this does not help. Or, Andrew, did it help for you?

Yesterday I installed Suse 8.0, with the 2.4.18-4GB-kernel.
I get the same errors as Andrew, the modules can't be loaded due to missing 
symbols.
I tried the latest cvs driver, Apr-05-2002, and a driver from mid-February. 
Always the same error.
Is the Suse-kernel-source f**ed up? Did someone compile and install the 
drivers successfully with Suse 8.0?

The suggested way with replacing insmod by modprobe helps with loading the 
drivers, since modprobe uses the Suse-shipped drivers.

Any suggestions?
