I had several problems to get the wintv nova run under linux. It seems
that it doesn't run with the 0.9.4 siemens-dvb-driver, any operation on
this device returns "invalid device". Now i've installed the 0.8 driver
and "analyze" seems to find a valid stream on /dev/video. But cat
/dev/video returns invalid device. Because the 0.8 driver uses the old
api, no recent application, i know, is able to display the stream. Did
anyone get to run the wintv nova and is able do give some advices? All
step-by-step instructions i found in the web didn't work.
