no, you can build the dvb-kernel/ stuff for 2.4, too. We won't accept 
new features for the DVB/-tree next time unless they are very well tested.

Take a look on dvb-kernel/build-2.4/README for the instructions to build 
the dvb-kernel/ source for 2.4 kernels.
