Hello,
I was using an old CVS with my 2.4.20 kernel, and it was really good
(only missing feature was the lack of NTSC), but since new VDR release
need newer driver, I have changed, and it was catastrophic :-(
Same with 2.4.21-rc1-ac3 or all >=2.4.20 kernels I tried...
What I mean by catastrophic, is that a most after FIVE minutes of
dvb-kernel usage, my system completely freeze???
With the same kernel, with DVB HEAD, I never encountered the smallest
problem of stability...
I just checked the CVS and see they were some changes, I can only speak
till the CVS of yesterday.
There is also a little "bug" in the build-24 with the insmod.sh: one
should explicitely modprobe input.
Is the dvb-kernel just for 2.4 or am I specially unlucky?
Thank you very much,
Grégoire
