[linux-dvb] Re: xawtv-3.88 with SAA7146

i found old version of xawtv was in the /usr/bin directory. i deleted
and linked to new version. Cleared! but sounds it doesn't work with
mine.
then what application do i have to run for testing the board(SAA 7146)?
and any other kernel configs?
do i have to really install another version of driver at
http://linuxtv.org/download/dvb/
i tried with linuxtv-dvb-1.0.0-pre2.tar.gz already, but same problem.
i'd much appreciate if you comment on this.

But KNC card is a budget card, isn't it? Then you can't use xawtv to 
watch digital stream.
