[linux-dvb] Question about "make insmod"

Hi,

i just upgraded my dvb system (dvb driver and vdr) to the recent
versions and noticed that (at least) the av7110.o is recompiled each
time i do a "make insmod" thus prolonging the driver load time
considerably. Is this the intended behaviour or did i miss sth. here?
