http://www.dvbshop.tv/ has the TT dvb-t card for 103.90 Euro.
A little googling for "dvb-t Hauppauge" at google.co.uk
shows it e.g. at www.kelkoo.co.uk for 70.81 pounds
or at http://web6.scan.co.uk/Products/Info.asp?WPID=9833 for 62.28
pounds.
Satellite cards are even cheaper, the Skystar2 is available for about
60,-EUR.
Indeed, but this raises another question: For most of these modern cards
the manufacturers do not publish the full specs, thus writing and
maintaining a driver is always a combination of guessing and reverse
engineering. IMO the "reference" card should always be the cheapest/best
available card where it's sure that the driver is just optimal. Can this
be garanteed for cards other than the TT designs?
