[linux-dvb] Watch 4:2:2?
Sorry, if this should be a bit off-topic. But that's what I bought
the SS2 for ;-)
Before I re-envent the wheel:
Concerning 4:2:2, I found this in the archives:

Did this lead to any solution? I don't find any 'success' reply.
MPlayer doesn't like 4:2:2 feeds, it says:
'MPEG: bad sequence header extension'.
Good old dvb2000recorder for the Nokias 9[56]00 has no problems recording
/displaying the streams.
Old mpeg2decode from the MPEG Software Simulation Group has no prob-
lems either(as frame), so I guess the format is according to the specs.
If there is no solution yet under Linux, I'll try to find out myself
when I find the time. is13818-1 should describe the details, and looking
at the source of mplayer should explain what it doesn't like.....
