We've created a new e-mail address which is currently an open
mailing-list anybody can subscribe to.
It's currently watched by the main developers. If spam takes over the
list, we might change it to "moderated" or even route it to one single
person.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope this is a solution we can all live
with.

who exactly has been automatically subscribed to this list, every
developer with CVS access? Have you installed a forwarder to the
linux-dvb list so that questions can get discussed - there are a few
people on the list sending then and when patches but not willing to take
over regular maintenance, I guess it makes sense to invite them to
discuss patches?
