[linux-dvb] Re: DVB-T and CAM support
Replying to my own post...

I currently have a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T card, which works beautifully.
I have heard that the UK Freeview service is soon going to add
subscription channels though, so I would like a CAM/CI capable DVB-T
receiver for my Linux box.
Can anybody suggest a supported combination? Hopefully not too
expensive, but I'd rather pay up than miss out completely.
I now believe that the hardware required for the above would be a Technotrend
DVB-T 1.2 plus 3.5" Common-Interface.
Has anybody tried this combination. I notice that there have been significant
discussions on the usability of the Technotrend 1.2 hardware, but I don't know
if it refers to capture only or decode quality.
Thanks again,
Steve
