[linux-dvb] Firmware Crashes using Technotrends Full featured card.
Hi, I am newbie at getting LinuxDVB going, and I guess I'm a little stuck. I
am really sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, if it has then I didn't
get the message - sorry, I searched google and the mail archive without any
solution I could understand.
I have a new box, running kernel 2.6.2-3, with the DVB kernel drives built
from linux-dvb-1.1.0. I have a TechnoTrends DVB-T card and DVB-S card
installed. Firmware being loaded is dbv-ttpci-01.fw. Tuner firmware was
downloaded from AverMedia this afternoon and loaded as "Sc_main.mc".
What ever I do, - it seems that when I try to get the DVB-T card (0) to tune
to a station it gives me a firmware crash. The module load script I use is:
modprobe videodev
modprobe v4l1-compat
modprobe v4l2-common
modprobe video-buf
modprobe dvb-core
modprobe ves1x93
modprobe alps_tdlb7
modprobe alps_tdmb7
modprobe stv0299
modprobe ves1820
modprobe tda1004x
modprobe saa7146
modprobe saa7146_vv
modprobe ttpci-eeprom
modprobe dvb-ttpci
I then try to do a scan:
./scan dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace | tee mychannels.conf
scanning dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
Frontend can not do INVERSION_AUTO, trying INVERSION_OFF instead
