I did not investigate that any further: After trying 2.4.25 with Gerds
patches for a couple of hours on two testmachines I decided to stick
with 2.4.24 - which works almost ;-) "stopped working" means that with a
classical WinTV mp1e (used by the analogtv plugin) died. With PVR I had
many block artefacts.
