Could you please run the above call trace through ksymoops to produce
readable output? ('dmesg | ksymoops' usually does the trick)

What do /proc/interrupts and 'lspci -vv' say?

Maybe there is some weirdness in the PCI setup of the cobalt, we have
DVB drivers running on MIPS (and powerpc), but with 2.4 kernel.
