[linux-dvb] dvbnet and kernel oops
Hi !
Is someone here successfully using dvbnet ? I get an oops on several kernels
at the time i try to remove the interface. After that no network at all is
possible anymore. Are there others that experience the same here ? (Kernel
2.6) Can it be that kernel 2.6 is broken currently what belongs to dvbnet ?
Steps to reproduce:
using szap to tune to a channel that provides ip-over-dvb, setting the net
interface with dvbnet, trying to remove it => oops
This is what i got in case it helps:

Ok, so i loaded latest CVS of dvb-apps and driver. Loaded the cvs driver and
compiled dvbnet from cvs. Result: I don't get the oops, but other then that
all is the same:
Jul 8 16:05:10 ernie kernel: unregister_netdevice: waiting for dvb1_0 to
become free. Usage count = 5
Jul 8 16:05:50 ernie last message repeated 4 times
Jul 8 16:07:00 ernie last message repeated 7 times
dvbnet can't be killed or stopped, but doesn't show in ps axw as defunct
either
Using Mandrake here. Kernel version is 2.6.3-14mdk, an 2.6.7 derrivat and the
2.6.7 with driver from cvs.
For me this looks somehow broken and in the archive i did see questions
regarding this but no answers or i didn't see them.
