[linux-dvb] Re: /dev/dvb0.dvr0 instead of/dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 ??
Hi all,
I have updated udev from udev-039-10.FC3.5 to udev-042-1, with no change.
However, I just noticed a "segmentation fault" error at bootup when attempting
to start udev. This is with kernel-2.6.9-1.681-FC3
After seeing this, I booted into the vanilla FC3 kernel-2.6.9-1.667 and did
not get the segmentation fault. (I have not yet recompiled the DVB modules to
test udev on the old kernel).
Kimmo - if FC3 with udev-041-1 is working for you, what kernel version do you
have?
Many thanks again for your time.
Paul
=====================
I don't believe :) because It works for me. I'm, using FC3, udev-042-1 and
dvb-kernel from cvs. I dont use makedvb.sh script and udev
creates /dev/dvb/adapter0* files properly.
I have done the up2date on udev twice in the last two weeks. The last
version is udev-039-10.FC3.5.i386.rpm
