[linux-dvb] WinTV Nova-T, FC2>FC3, now loading blackbird driver ???
Hello All.
I made the move and installed FC3, then the 2.6.10 kernel.
My WinTV Nova-T Hauppauge Conexant cx22702 card thingy is now being picked
up by kadzu, but it looks like the wrong driver is being loaded. The
/dev/dvb nodes aren't being created manually (have to run the
MAKEDEV-DVB.sh script every time).
Once the nodes have been created (using 212) the device is still not
there, and I get :
ERROR: failed opening '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' (No such device or
address)
The /var/log/messages has

Why is Blackbird being loaded?
Also, being a newbie, can someone help me with this? Where are the
drivers being loaded? Is there a modules.conf file somewhere being
executed on boot up?
How can I manually remove the drivers (rmmod?) so the lsmod shows NO dvb
drivers loaded?
Thanks
Simon
