[linux-dvb] Re: dvb-bt8xx: A frontend driver was not found...
Hello Stefan,
thanks for you fast answer! ;)
Hmmm... Its the Aver 771. In the past (kernel-2.6.9)it worked with the mt352
module.
The thing why i try out is that i want to fizzle around with the remote
control. And
first with kernel-2.6.10 i see a remote0 device from bttv.
I believe there are some dvb-t cards from aver around. But im really sure,
the 771
needs the mt352 frontend, if some things no totally changed.
But anyway, i have the most frontend-modules loaded (the ones that are
needed from
dvb-bt8xx). Im not sure, whats wrong here...
Regards,
Andreas

Hello Andreas,
I don't know which <M>s are actually necessary, but in the kernel config
I marked all of the DVB-T frontends to be compiled as module.
Are you sure the right driver is mt352? The
Documentation/dvb/avermedia.txt says:
"The Frontend of the Avermedia DVB-T is a Microtune 7202D. A timely post
to the linux-dvb mailing list ascertained that the Microtune
7202D is supported by the sp887x driver which is found in the dvb-hw
CVS module."
Regards
Stefan
