AFAIK cd-record has some functionality for DVD-RAM writing, but I
don't know about DVD-/+RW. You should check their latest version.

I don't think you will find a DVD authoring software for linux in the
near future, at least not an open source one. The DVD specs cost a lot
of money and are only given under NDA. So it will probably take a little
while until people figure out how to write a .ifo file correctly.
