don't know what you're doing -  try /dev/video0 instead ?!?


All your player are MPEG-1 players. The Kfir puts out MPEG-2. There is a
problem with MPEG-1 streams - mentioned on linuxtv.org/mpeg2

Fetch dvdview and try this on your streams.
