My Idea behind all this is to use DVB-C card only as MPEG decoder without
connection to the cable, use a NOVA as "primary card" to watch TV and use a
DVB-S card with CI Interface for recordings and to whatch PW in the future.

I tried the Setup with the DVB-C card and the DVB-S card (Nova not available
yet). I connected the DVB-C to the TV. I compiled VDR with DEBUG_OSD=1 to be
able to handle the menue from the PC-screen.

And now the problem start. Making DVB-C to the primary interface brings
problemes because no signal available on the IN side. Makong DVB-S card as
the primary is ok if you connect the TV to the DVB-S card.

I tried to find a solution in the mailinglist but i couldn't find one. So
perhaps anyone of you could help me.

So again:

DVB-C card which is Interface 1 shall show the mpeg stream (directly if
possible) of Interface 2 (DVB-S)
Remote control shall switch the Interface 2 and the OSD shall work on
Interface 1.

I there a solution or if not, i give up with the DVB-C card in the system.

Thank you very mouch in advance

Bernd
