Thought that too, but "normal watching" ("live") is flawless.
The records have heavy drop outs (maybe because the
driver is trying to write that MPG1-string?)
BTW:
While looking in driver i see that there are several places
where i2c-writes results are not checked...resp. dropped.
Maybe teh errors occurs on a much higher level, and
that is the firsttime, an error message is generated.
>Does this happen on _any_ channel, or just on specific ones?
It happened on _recording_ of
ARD+ZDF+WDR
(but i did not record other channels in the meanwhile)
All records are almost unusable.
>BTW: what's with the "lirc_serial: AIEEEE: ..."??
That's a sporadic(unexpected) interrupt lirc in debug
likes to notice this.
First i thought that might be the cause, but
this messages i got since i am running VDR,
and , on a deeper look, it seems not to be timerelated.
(They just "happend" to be between)
This MPEG-message seems to occure only while recording (AFAIS)
It's new since i upgrade to 0.95 + the dvb-20010914
With 0.94 and the 20010807 i had no such problem.
DVB -> dvb-20010914
VDR -> vdr-0.95
