Ups, I had/have this problem for at least 2 weeks! (if back screen means 
blank ok black screen:-)
Until now I thougt my second card has a small damage, too  (first card still 
broken, my fault)-: 

All other channels on the same transponder tuned fine, ARD crashed relieable 
the VDR and driver.
Perhaps 1 in 50 times it was surprisingly able to tune in ARD. 

Therefor I was working with a channel.conf without ARD.

Now I reentered ARD and.. It works! No problem at all!

After my last CVS update (21.9.01, 00:15) the most anoying problems are gone.
(Must still watch some movies)
- Its not longer a problem to tune Studio universial. (Normally I got the 
superdom information page instead)

- Switching is faster

I'm using Linux 2.4.5 
with one Rev 1.3 Card 
VDR 0.95
cvs DVB driver from 21.9.01 00:15

If ARD fails again for me I will inform the list.
