I only had to apply 2 hunks manually, had no problem compiling, and it works 
fine, too!

If anyone's interested, I could now create a patch-pack from vdr-0.96 to the 
patches MP3, MPlayer, beauty, some bugfixes from the mailinglist and my own 
favourites patch.

What about other's experiences with mixing patches together? (I only had to 
fix several hunks each time til now)
