Hello,

I'm using kernel 2.4.6 and it works fine. But I had problems with 2.4.12. 
Maybe the dbv people rely on something that isn't included in later kernels? 
if you just want to run vdr then only compile the driver. cd to 
/opt/download/DVB/driver, type "make clean" and then "make" then "make 
insmod". that should do the job.
