Did you compile mplayer according to DOCS/DVB ?
you have to #define HAVE_MPEGPES in libvo/vo_mpegpes.h and you have to move
one line out of a #ifdef..#endif block in libavcodec/(something).c but it is 
described very good in DOCS/DVB ...
