I don't think so. But I can't do my own tests at the moment, because I'm 
still using Xfree86_3.3.6 (on my non-mobile box).
Nevertheless I'm interested in this problem, because my hardware setup is
similar (dvb-s and bt8x8 card, but ati (rage pro) card) and I will update to 
Xfree86_4.1.x in the near future.
