Any of the recent VDR versions should work ( see ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/pub/people/kls/vdr).
There is also a driver version there that AFAIK does work with DVB-C. It's at

  ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/pub/people/kls/vdr/siemens_dvb-0.9-20010921.tgz
