Should work if you use the following setup:

Make your DVB-s card the primary card in VDR's configuration

In your channels.conf set the card number to your DVB-t (0 or 1) (the 
second last field).

With this configuration, you tell VDR to use always DVB-t to receive 
channels and your DVB-S for display.
You can watch and record all channels and  time shift should also work.
