[vdr] Mplayer and audio

Hi,

i played today a little with mplayer and i want to replay a mpeg-stream.
This is working fine, but i have a problem with the audio.
it says:

Can't open audio device /dev/dsp  -> nosound
couldn't open/init audio device -> NOSOUND
Audio: no sound!!!

My computer has no soundcard, is it not possible to replay the sound
over the dvb card?
