[vdr] feature: small "File Manager"

I have a idea:

Implementation of a small OSD file manager in VDR. I think it is very useful to copy / move  .vdr`s, mp3`s and DiVX's from directory to directory and also copy from CD to hd.
I have a servershare mapped on my vdr computer. If i go to a friend, i copy with ssh the files local to watch them everywhere (without my server connection).
It will be very useful to do this with OSD. For other peoples without a server, it is also useful, because they can copy files from cd to harddisk.

What do you think? Is it hard to program such a small file manager? I think there on a very simple filemanager: 2 Windows one share left, the other right (like the mc design). You can move, copy and delete.
