Ok i  recompiled my vdr now with the VFAT option, but now my existing
recordings are no longer shown in the list of vdr.
that is not really what i wanted to achieve  :-(

when i again recompile vdr without the VFAT option, the recordings are shown
again.  this is really this hard to make reading of old recordings work if
compiled with the VFAT option? maybe i will look into the sources, if time
permits.
