[vdr] VDR eating CPU time

Someone wrote that his VDR is using too much/all of CPU.


After upgrading to 2.4.17 i found that vdr is eating 95% of CPU too.

After recompiling lirc_serial (which could not be found anymore)
and placing is -manually- into the module tree
cp -p lirc-0.6.4/drivers/lirc_serial/lirc_serial.o /lib/modules/2.4.17/misc/

update-modules and loading the lirc module  starting lircd VDR
behaves "normal" again using just 0,5% CPU time ;-)
