Try lynx. This is a text-mode browser. I use it sometimes, because I have no 
X on my VDR machine. For most things you need only the cursor left/right, tab 
and the space bar. A graphical browser with such a simple user interface 
would be very interesting. But it don't has to be part of VDR, because this 
is overkill.
