Don´t think so - otherwise you have a P4-2GHZ Machine...

Here MY VDR have sometimes a problem to record 3 Streams at the same time without
Compression (Conversion to DIVX) - so i think it´s a good idea but
nor a "real" replacemet for the usual mpeg2 of the DVB-CARD
