Hi,
some time ago we had the discussion to do parallel recordings on one
low-budget card when the channels are on the same transponder.
Klaus told us about two problems:
1.) only possible with low-budget cards, as the full-featured cards do
not provide complete TS.
This could be done by determing card-type.
2.) complex restructuring of VDR would be necessary
Possible workaround:
"virtual" dvrs in VDR code. A function could be set between the origin
dvr access-functions which looks for low-budget cards already tuned to
the transponder and redirect the dvr-access to that card with supressing
tuning commands.
Is that possible to do on VDR's code?
