[vdr] Plugin for Replay ?

Hi List

I still miss something in VDR wich (i think) should be realy usefull:


I Record much Films wich i want to save to a usual VCR-Tape Recorder 
(cheap and easy to use).

But the problem is that VDR only is able to reply a recording over the
Primary output device.  So the only way is to connect the VCR to the "TV-Output"
and record the Recording over this way.

But there are some Problems:

 - VDR is blocked during the Record Proccess
 - All OSD-Messages are recorded  (Incoming E-mail, Status-Messges,.....)
 - Bad Picture Quality (have to use a Spliter)

All this Problems could be solved only by Software !

I have 4 DVB-S Card´s in my VDR and 3 Card´s are unused 60% all of the Time.

So why don´t use the Output of one of the 3 Card´s for Record to VCR ?

This only need a second "reply Thread" wich can be started in the recordings-Menü
by pressing "only for example" button "1" at the point of the Recording wich should
be replyed. And the reply is started at "for example" Device 3

I´m not a programmer - but perhaps anyone at this list have the same problem and is able
to write a Plugin or a Patch for VDR ?

It´s just a question .... but this would be realy a nice thing.....
