You should install libsndfile v. 0.0.28
(http://www.zip.com.au/~erikd/libsndfile/#Download)

The 1.0.0rc doesn't seems to work with this version of vdr / patch.

Another workaround would be:

edit the makefile and uncomment

WITHOUT_LIBSNDFILE=1
