As the WinTV Nova doesn't have a MPEG-decoder, 
it also hasn't "/dev/video"-device, etc. That's why you 
get this error-message. You can use VDR for recording 
with a Nova, but not for watching.

Therefor a full-featured DVB is still needed. But there a people 
developing a plugin for the DXR3-card working with a NOVA.
