Even then editing a new channel's name works fine here.
Just move the cursor to the name (with Up/Down), move the '[]'
marker to the character position you want to change (with Left/Right)
and then select the character with Up/Down. Finally press Ok to confirm
the changes. The color buttons provide additional functionality like
upper/lowercase, insert/overwrite and delete.
