[vdr] Hauppauge Nexus 2.1 IR receiver connections

I am about to build the serial port IR receiver, as detailed at 
http://www.lirc.org/receivers.html, as I wish to use a non RC5 remote 
control with VDR.

Rather than buy a receiver IC, I am assuming the receiver supplied with 
the Nexus card can be used and wondered if anyone knows the signals on 
the 3.5mm plug?
