MPlayer with an approriate script ;o) . I think there was a tool called autofs 
(or autocd??) which could help you on recognizing a divx-cd. If mplayer could 
be able to use the v4l-device of the DVB-Card mplayer too could be used to 
display all what is shown on dvb-tvout. Maybe you want to have a look at 
"df-gp"
