[vdr] Problems generating index for VCD-mpegs

Hi, can anyone give me a hint how to create a correct index.vdr 
out of a mpeg file extracted of a VCD or SVCD?
Genindex does create a index, but if I play the film its jumping ;
A scene fore some second > jump (???Seconds) > next scene a.s.o..
Help would be great!
