[vdr] Join .vdr Files?

Hi list,

I intend to join a couple of VDR-files (actually the "sofa"-scenes of the currently runnning Simpsons-episodes) into one file, but don't know how to do this.

I found something in the list archives like "patch Byte number 5 of blah blah to fasel" but this isn't what I would call "user friendly" - is there an easier way?
