Griaseichallemidananda!
English isn't my foreign language, so I try to do my best! :-)
This days I'm working on my first vdr-box. My SAT-antenna isn't installed jet,
so I tried to use VDR as an DVD player first. I hope I can do this ...
After starting runvdr, vdr crashes down every few minutes. In
/var/log/messages are written those lines:

The line "vdr[1290]: ERROR: video data stream broken on device 1" appears,
'cause the TT-DVB-S card has no connection to the antenna. Isn't it so?
Is it possible to run VDR without the connection to the antenna?
Every hint is welcome!
