DMA is activated (the patch from via applied to the redhat-kernel-sources,
compiled with gcc-2.96 running debian/sid). The VIA provided
binary-modules for x11 are loaded an running fine.
Btw. there are rumors, that via will release the driver sources in the
next 3 weeks, so no need to run stupid kernels anymore ;-)
