[vdr] AW: VDR box based on EPIA-M board and Cubid case

Hi,

I have an EPIA-ME6000 in a Morex Cubid 2699 case. A DVB-S 2.1 won't fit
into the case without working it (the case!) with a file. There are 2mm
missing, but that takes 5 minutes including the search for the file. But
the major drawback is the power supply! I have only a harddisk and a
DVB-S 2.1 installed, no optical drive, no floppy, no keyboard, no VGA
and the power supply is not able to power up the system. One has to
attach a VGA and a keyboard in order to have a chance to boot - and even
than it succeeds only in one of ten tries. And if it boots, it takes 1-2
hours to have the system frequently crash. This is not a bios limitation
because with an ordinary 300W power supply the system boots without any
problems, even without VGA and keyboard. This (ugly) setup is running
here for several days.

Besides that, this is a nice combination, especially when disconnecting
the Cubid fans - it's absolutely quiet. (Ok, the hdd is still there but
plans are to boot over ethernet to have a 0dB system)

@Ralf Klueber: UDMA 133 is running (Debian Woody, 2.4.18 with (slightly
modified) patches from the VIA website), SPDIF out works perfect with
the alsa drivers (custom build).
