Thanks to all for the first time.

I will have a trie this evening in compiling Mplayer without the slave-
patch. And then I will try it again.

@Juri: Yes, this was the location.

But one question:

How can I control mplayer from within vdr?
Is it with the same keys as eg a VCD?
